Choosing a Marriage Therapist or Counselor

Couples counselors and therapistsMarriage counseling is one of the most demanding forms of psychotherapy and it is vitally important to obtain a therapist with extensive training and a vast amount of experience. Relationship therapists must be able to integrate their knowledge of individual psychological development with systems theories, behavioral, psychodynamic and couples therapy techniques. Marriage therapists must also be able to offer couples the tools they need to learn better communication and conflict resolution skills.

Our therapists have extensive training and well over 20 years experience helping couples resolve their problems. They are also trained to identify intercurrent psychiatric problems and there are psychiatrists on staff if needed.

Our therapists, Ms. Pamela Lee and Dr. Rose Thorn are affiliated with Jerry S. Kantor, M.D., P.A located in Fort Myers: 239-936-3202.
